Apple has reduced the price on this thing for a limited time only (just as it has for USB-C adapters). Ordinarily, I reckon it would've been priced at around 0 (for Australians), so that's a pretty good saving.
I have used G-Technology's G-Drives for over 10 years and have never had any issues, except for one dying on me, but it was 7 years old, so that wasn't unexpected.
I've been using the 2 USB ports on the MBPr 15" for years now and have come close to getting a hub, then I saw the new MBP has 4 ports! I was thinking this kind of set up: 1x USB-C to Lightning Cable (for my i Phone)1x USB-C to HDMI Cable (so I can get around the adaptor/hub) – Would that work for you or do you use multiple/different HDMI cables?

Ended up grabbing a new Macbook Pro this morning; not sure if I'm going to under fire for this based on how you guys are reacting in the 'Macbook Pro 2016' thread.
But yeah, anyone out there got any good suggestions for USB C to USB A dongles and HDMI? Best dongle I've found so far is one from Kogan, 'https:// Aliexpress and other China based sites have so many of these adaptors and dongles. Just bought two of these and two short cabled version units yesterday. I will be eager to find out what you choose and how it performs.
